3 Simple Methods on How to Delete a Page in Google Docs
Open Google Docs document where there is a page you want to delete
Select the excess text or other elements
Press Backspace or Delete on the keyboard. The text is removed along with the extra pages
Option number 2 is to get rid of extra empty lines or page breaks left.
Put a mouse cursor at the end of the blank space
Press Backspace or Delete as many times as it takes to remove all the excess
You can highlight the entire empty space with a double mouse click and drag the cursor up until you reach your text
Then delete it with a single button press (Backspace or Delete). The blank space is deleted with the remaining blank page
The remaining third option means to adjust the document’s margins if the previous ways didn’t work that means they just may be too big.
Go to File on the top toolbar and press it
Drag the cursor down to the Page Setup and click it
The values here may be just too big, so you want to reduce them to, let’s say, 1 inch for all margins, for example. You can easily customize the values for the margins
And then press OK to apply
2 Simple Methods to Add a Page on Google Docs
Openyour document (the file where you need to add a page)
To add more pages, put your mouse cursor before the place where you want the page break to appear
Go to Insert on the top toolbar, down to the page break line, and then when the new window pops up, press Pagebreak.
Or you can do the same with a button combination, so once again put the cursor before the place of the new break and press Ctrl + Enter on the keyboard at once, or Command + Enter on Mac
