Description:
Want to save for a new car or a trip abroad? With our Budget for College Students Template, you can do just that. A structured approach to finances may seem boring or unnecessary when you're young. But it allows you to save on the small stuff to create the best college memories.
Save Money During Your College Years
Our college student budget template is divided into three main sections, each with its own subcategories:
- In the first section, you specify your total income, including contributions from parents, scholarships, part-time job payments, loans, and more.
- The second section allows you to record all fixed expenses so you don’t have to worry about them later. Here, you can add rent, cell phone bills, insurance, transportation, and tuition fees.
- In the third section, you only need to fill in variable expenses, such as shopping, groceries, travel, savings, and more.
Each section of the spreadsheet contains up to 13 rows for your expense categories. You can rename them and add new ones in Google Sheets and Excel. Total income and expenses for each expense category are calculated automatically.
